Women’s Tennis concludes season in WHAC Quarterfinals

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Cornerstone women's tennis team concluded their 2014-15 campaign on Friday afternoon with a 5-0 setback to Indiana Tech in the conference tournament quarterfinals. The loss came after the Golden Eagles posted a fourth place finish during the regular season.

Doubles Highlights: Cornerstone put up a battle at No. 2 doubles behind Heidi Boesl (JR/Coos Bay, Ore.) and Ashley Green but they were unable to come out with a win, falling 8-6. CU fell at No. 1 and No. 3 by identical 8-1 scores.

Singles Highlights: Needing only two wins in singles, the Warriors closed out Cornerstone by posting a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 4 and 6-0, 6-3 at No. 6.

The season concludes for Cornerstone with a 5-15 overall record while they were 3-3 in league play.
