Women’s Soccer erupts for six goals in shortened match vs. Marygrove

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.  – Cornerstone found the net six times in just 69' of play this evening for a 6-0 victory, as the match was shortened due to Marygrove injuries that prevented the Mustangs from having a full squad to continue for the final 21' of game action. With the win, CU has now won two straight to improve to 7-5-1, 2-4-0 on the season with their next match coming on Saturday, when CU hosts Siena Heights.

The CU offense then erupted in the second half with five goals before the game was called in the 69' minute. Riksen started the second half scoring with her second goal of the day in the 47" and was followed by goals by Lexanna Siemasz, Bria West, Kelsey Gensler, and Maddie Tassoni resulting in a 6-0 final.
