GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – No. 22 Siena Heights came out firing against Cornerstone this afternoon, blanking the Golden Eagles on senior night, 3-0. CU is now 7-6-1 on the year and 2-5 in WHAC play, as they will host Lourdes on Tuesday for their final home game of the year.
Game Flow…
Siena Heights found the net early scoring just nine minutes into the match when Emily Burkman scored on an assist from Taylor Mulder to make the score 1-0. Mulder then found the net herself in the 32' bringing the score to 2-0 at the half. Cornerstone was only able to muster up two shots in the first half with one being on net.
The Golden Eagles started the second half much stronger controlling much of the possession and getting a few chances with the best opportunity coming from
Bria West inside the box that was shot just wide. Siena Heights then found their offensive rhythm again resulting in a 61' goal by Danielle Eastman for a 3-0 final score.

- Cornerstone lost just their second match of the year at home holding a 7-2-1 record at home.
- CU is now 10-22-6 all-time vs. the Saints.
