GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles are nearing the end of the regular season with just two weeks of play remaining as they start a 4-match week starting Wednesday at Aquinas. CU will then host Great Lakes Christian, Marygrove and Lawrence Tech over the weekend.
Scouting Aquinas
First year head coach Rick Schroeder and the Saints enter the week with an overall record of 14-11 while they are 4-7 in league play. Last week, Aquinas went 3-2 with a WHAC win over Concordia and a 2-2 mark at the ACC. The trio of Micaela Hazen (296 kills), Kristin Danielson (204 kills) and Michaela Ryan (195) lead the way offensively while Brooke Wieland is averaging 8.6 assists per set.

Scouting Marygrove
The Mustangs, under first year head coach Porsche Carlisle, have played just 14 matches this season and are only 3-11. Marygrove will play Northwestern Ohio and Rochester before coming to Cornerstone on Friday.
Scouting Lawrence Tech
The Blue Devils are having their best season in program history under 6th year head coach Larry Wyatt. Lawrence Tech is currently 15-13 overall and sitting in third place in the east division of the WHAC at 5-5.
