GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The men's soccer team will play the final two of a 4-match home stand this week starting with Concordia on Wednesday and finishing with a Saturday contest vs. Indiana Tech. The Golden Eagles are 5-4-1 overall and 1-1-1 in conference play while Concordia is 6-4-0 and Indiana Tech 8-0-0.

Scouting Concordia – Head coach Eric Schultz (1st season)
First year head coach Eric Schultz is in his first season at the helm of the Cardinal program and he has them at 6-4-0 overall and 1-2 in the WHAC entering play this week. CUAA won two straight against Grace Bible and Andrews just before WHAC play but has since fell to Indiana Tech and Siena Heights before defeating UM-Dearborn. Alex Vrzovski leads the team with 11 goals.
History vs. the Cardinals
Cornerstone has had much success against the Cardinals as they are 28-2-1 since 1999 against their counterparts from Ann Arbor. Last season, CU won 4-0 on the road while the last Cardinal win came in 2014 here in Grand Rapids as CUAA won 3-1.

Scouting Indiana Tech – Head coach Dave Bokhart (6th season)
Head coach Dave Bokhart and his Warriors enter the week with a perfect 8-0-0 mark while they are 2-0 in the WHAC. Last week, their contest with Lourdes was postponed due to weather but the Warriors still have put up 31 goals compared to just 10 allowed. Leading the offensive charge is Roman Schindler with seven.
History vs. the Warriors
Cornerstone has won the last three meetings in the series including two of those matches that went into extra time. Last season, CU won 3-2 in Fort Wayne to clinch the 5th seed in the WHAC Tournament.
