ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The offensive struggles continued for the Golden Eagles this afternoon, as a Concordia goal in each half lead to a third straight 2-0 loss for CU. Cornerstone now drops to .500 on the year holding a 5-5-1 record as they will seek out their first conference win when they return home to face Indiana Tech on Friday night.
Game Flow…
CUAA was dominant throughout not allowing Cornerstone to get anything going offensively throughout the match. On just the fourth shot of the match, Cardinals forward Heather Emke found the net to take an early 1-0 lead over CU in the 14' minute. Cornerstone was only able to muster up two shots in the first half to Concordia's 11 as keeper
Allison Snowden recorded five saves to hold the deficit to 1-0.
The second half was much of the same, as CU was only able to get one shot off in the final 45 minutes of play. Concordia was able to add an insurance goal in the 55' minute when Sydney Rouse recorded a goal off an assist by Paige Messmer bringing the final to 2-0.

- The Golden Eagles are now 0-4-0 on the road this season.
- Cornerstone recorded a season low three shots with two of those being on net.
- CU remains one win away from 200 all-time program victories.
