GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The bulk of the spring schedule is starting to toughen up for the Cornerstone men's tennis team and they are off to a slow start as they fell 8-1 to No. 17 Cardinal Stritch. It is the first of seven matches over the next two months against Top-25 or receiving votes but the lone win for the Golden Eagles came from junior Sanitago Mackrey.

Doubles Highlights – All three matches for doubles were highly contested but unfortunately the Goldem Eagles were unable to come away with a point. CU fell 8-4 at No. 1 and No. 3 while dropping an 8-5 decision at No. 2.

Singles Highlights – Sanitago Mackrey was the lone Golden Eagle to post a point on the day as the junior won 3-6, 6-1, 11-9 at No. 4 singles. The other five matches were all decided in straights sets in favor of the Wolves

Next Up? Cornerstone will take on #RV Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday, February 27.
