Men's Tennis falls 8-1 to No. 16 Campbellsville

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Golden Eagles returned to action today against #16 ranked Campbellsville (Ky.). The Tigers proved to be too tough for the Golden Eagles winning by a score of 8-1. CU will return to action on Friday when they host Saint Francis (Ind.).

Doubles Highlights – #2 Doubles team of Austin Hendrick / Sam Ottosen got the Golden Eagles only point of the day defeating Zach Baulch / Adrian Sabrojo 9-8 (7-3). Santiago Mackrey / Andrew Son came up a little short in an 8-6 loss.

Singles Highlights - #3 Austin Hedrick won his first set 6-2 over Victor Ahlbeck but Ahlbeck rallied to defeat Hedrick 6-2 in the second set and 10-8 in the third for the win.

Next Up – Cornerstone will host University of Saint Francis on Friday, March 25th at Riverview Athletic Club.
