Men's tennis drops 7-2 match to Aquinas

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles continued their tough stretch of opponents in their match against #11 Aquinas today.  Cornerstone has been struggling with injuries over the last couple of weeks.  Sam Ottosen did not play today and Austin Hunt had to retire in his singles match with a hip injury.  The Golden Eagles picked up two singles wins but that would be all they would get in a 7-2 loss to Aquinas.

Doubles HighlightsSantiago Mackrey / Andrew Son  lost 8-5 in the #2 doubles match.

Singles Highlights Santiago Mackrey and Austin Hunt picked up the Golden Eagles only points on the day.  Mackrey defeated Chase Peery 6-2, 6-4 in #4 singles match and Austin Hendrick defeated Andy Struble 7-6 (7-4), 3-6, 7-6 (10-4)

Next Up?   Cornerstone will return to action again tomorrow when they take on Concordia in Ann Arbor at 11:00 a.m.
