GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The 2015-16 season has come to a close for the men's tennis team as they fell to Indiana Tech in the quarterfinals of the WHAC Tournament. The Golden Eagles conclude the campaign with an overall record of 12-11 as they saw the careers their first 4-year graduating class of Andrew Son (SR/Keller, Texas), Elijah Yi (SR/Dallas, Texas) and Austin Hunt (SR/Odessa, Texas.) come to a close.
Doubles Highlights – The Golden Eagles struggled to get going on a cool and cloudy day as the Warriors grabbed wins on all three courts to put CU in a deep hole. IT won by identical 8-4 decisions on the first two courts and 8-1 on the third
Singles Highlights – Needing only two points to clinch the win, the Warriors got a win at No. 5 singles (6-1, 6-1) over Sam Ottosen (SO/Cairns, AUS) and a win at No. 6 (6-0, 6-2) over Dan Ribbink (FR/Norton Shores, Mich.).
Next Up? Cornerstone concludes the year with an overall record of 12-11.
