GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The men's soccer team continues their tour of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference as they face Robert Morris University (Ill.) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. EST. The Golden Eagles will be playing their fourth straight and fifth overall CCAC foe as they look to extend their winning streak to four.

The Eagles enter the week having lost all four of their scheduled matches so far in 2016. Their last contest was a 4-0 setback at the hands of Madonna. RMU also has a 6-0 loss to Grand View, 5-0 to Lindenwood-Belleville and 3-1 to Taylor. The Eagles have just one goal on the season and that was scored by Maximilian Never in their opener vs. Taylor.

Over the last 10 years, Cornerstone has a 4-1-1 edge over Robert Morris. The two teams have not met since the 2013 since in which CU won 2-1 and the last win for the RMU Eagles came in 2011 when they won 2-0 in Chicago. Over that time frame, CU has outscored RMU 12-6.

Richard Moylan and Garrett Nimmo recorded the pair of CU goals as the Golden Eagles topped the Eagles 2-1 in Chicago. All three goals in the match were scored in the second half and all came between the 66:57 and 71:30 mark. Miguel Cervantes made eight saves in net for CU to post the win.
 
CCAC Regulars
Cornerstone has made regular trips throughout the region to the Chicagoland schools and over the last five years the Golden Eagles own a 6-6-1 record vs. schools from the CCAC including a 3-1 mark this season after their 2-1 win over Purdue Northwest on Saturday.
