GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles complete a 3-0 weekend with a 25-18, 25-18, 25-15 sweep over the Olivet Nazarene Tigers to end the Panther Invitational. CU is now 13-7 on the year as they will return to WHAC play on Wednesday with a match against Siena Heights.

Cornerstone got off to a hot start in the final day of the Panther Invitational taking the first set over Olivet Nazarene 25-18. As a team the Golden Eagles hit .500 in the first set and
Madison Herrema kept her strong play going recording six kills in the first set.
CU continued to look dominant in the second set winning six straight points on their way to another 25-18 victory.
Kendra Zwart came alive in the second set recording six kills and a block. Cornerstone then concluded the sweep of the Tigers with a 25-15 third set victory winning seven straight points in the middle of the set.
