GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The men's soccer team opens a 4-match home stand this week with contests against No. 3 Davenport and No. RV Madonna. The Friday night contest against the Crusaders will be the annual Night of Nets match in which all proceeds go towards purchasing bed nights to fight Malaria in Africa.

Davenport has defeated a pair of Top-25 teams so far in 2016 and has been led on offense by TJ Ifaturoti (6 goals) and Tyler Collishaw (4 goals).

Cornerstone leads the all-time series against the Panthers 10-7-2 although DU has won the last three matches in the rivalry. Cornerstone's last win came in 2012 when they won 4-0 at home. The Golden Eagles are 7-2 in matches played at CU Soccer Field.

The Crusaders are one of the hottest teams in the country as they have yet to drop a match and stand at 8-0-0 entering the week. 4th year head coach Mark Zathey and his team have outscored their opponents by a combined 35-4 as they have a date with #7 UNOH set for Wednesday afternoon.

Since 1998, the Golden Eagles are just 11-21-4 against the Crusaders but CU did win the last meeting, a 1-0 decision here in Grand Rapids.
