GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone welcomed Marygrove to the CU Soccer Field for the first home match in more than two weeks. Richard Areche's equalizing goal in the second half sent the Golden Eagles to overtime for the sixth time in 11 games. A Marygrove goal with three minutes to go in regulation gave CU their third overtime loss in as many games. Cornerstone drops to 2-6-3 overall, 1-3-2 in the WHAC.

Game Flow
Marygrove got on the board 28 minutes into the match and held the lead going into halftime. After several attempts at the net, the Golden Eagles evened the match with 25 minutes to go in regulation. JuChan Moon sent a through ball to James Pipe, who centered it for Richard Areche who buried it. Cornerstone had a couple solid opportunities on corner kicks in the closing minutes of regulation, but the teams went into overtime knotted 1-1. The Mustangs had a chance to seal a win with a PK six minutes into extra time, but the attempt soared over the net. With three minutes to go in the second OT, Marygrove put away a loose ball in the box to end it.
