GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The regular season finale saw the Golden Eagles celebrate the careers of senior

Morgan Haddad and
Tori Johns and CU got a pair of goals from sisters
Morgan Haddad and
Meredith Haddad to down the visiting UM-Dearborn Wolverines. The victory ups the CU record to 10-6-2 as they will enter the WHAC Tournament as the No. 4 seed and they will host No. 5 seed Concordia on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Game Flow…
Cornerstone maintained possession for a majority of the match and would close out the Wolverines by outshooting them 25-4 (13 to 4 on goal).
Sophomore
Meredith Haddad got the first tally on the board for CU as she headed in a corner kick in the 22' off the foot of
Savannah Petty to put CU up 1-0. That score held until halftime as CU had numerous chances but the UMD keeper was up to the task.
Just five minutes into the second half,
Morgan Haddad matched her sister with a goal as she put away a cross from
Hannah Sell to up the lead to 2-0 for Cornerstone.
Down the stretch, CU had a couple great opportunities but the Wolverines' keeper made some spectacular saves to keep the score at 2-0.
