GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After picking up wins over rival Aquinas and No. 5 ranked Indiana Tech, the No. 2 ranked Golden Eagles will head to the road to finish out the 2017 calendar year. CU will get it started with a pair of road WHAC contests this week at Lourdes on Wednesday and at Madonna on Saturday. Both games will be streamed live on the CSPN.

Scouting Lourdes – Head coach Josh Gibson
Second year head coach Josh Gibson has the Gray Wolves at 4-6 overall and 0-4 in WHAC play entering the week. LU has dropped its last five games including a non-conference matchup at IU-South Bend as they are averaging 68.2 points per game while giving up 70.9. The Gray Wolves are led on offense by Malik Thurman who is averaging 13.2 points per night and he is joined in double-figures by Clif Snow (12.7) and Kadeim Jones (10.1). LU is shooting just .390 from the field including .278 from behind the arc.

Scouting Madonna – Head coach Noel Emenhiser
Head coach Noel Emenhiser, who is in his 9th season at the helm of the Crusader program, brings the team into the week with a 7-4 overall record while they are 3-2 in league action. Madonna, who is always a tough opponent for CU and especially in Livonia, is 5-1 inside the Activities Center so far this season and they have won three of their last four games overall with a 70-66 setback at AQ last Saturday. Madonna is averaging 91.4 points per game while giving up just 76.9 and they do it by shooting 47.8% from the field. MU features a very balanced lineup that has five guys averaging in double-figures led by Joshua Reynolds (14.0) and Davon Taylor (11.9).
