Men’s Tennis opens spring slate Friday at GVSU

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Head coach Dan Erickson and the men's tennis team will open its spring slate this Friday when they travel to face NCAA DII foe Grand Valley State University. The Golden Eagles posted a 3-0 mark in the fall with wins over St. Francis (Ind.), Judson and Goshen as well as a successful weekend at the annual ITA Regional.

The men's tennis team will look to come out of the gates strong as they start their spring slate against GLIAC power Grand Valley State. The match will start a spring in which CU plays 20 matches, including six league ones ending with Concordia on April 22.

The schedule is highlighted by the annual spring break trip to Florida where Cornerstone will face some of the best competition from the SUN Conference in Keiser University (Fla.), Southeastern University (Fla.), Webber International (Fla.), Ave Maria (Fla.) and Warner University (Fla.).

League action kicks off on April 1 when the Golden Eagles host Indiana Tech and they follow the next week with a contest against GR-rival Aquinas College.
