GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Head coach
Dan Erickson and the men's and women's tennis teams will open WHAC play on Saturday when they host Indiana Tech at 11 a.m. All matches will be played outdoors at NorthPointe Christian High School. The CU men are 12-5 overall and ranked No. 21 in the country while the ladies will enter league play at 1-6 overall.
The men's tennis program vaulted up to No. 21 in the latest NAIA Top-25 poll that was released earlier this week and much of that success has been a very balanced lineup that featured an 11-match singles' winning streak from freshman
Francisco Fernandez as well as the 100th career win from junior
Austin Hendrick.
The women's team will enter the match with the Warriors fresh off their first win of the season when they defeated Ave Maria (Fla.) in their last match of their spring break trip.Â
