Men’s Tennis downs Ave Maria 8-1

ORLANDO, Fla. – The #RV Men's Tennis team picked up their third straight win and will go into their final match of the spring break slate against No. 3 Keiser (Fla.) on Saturday with an overall record of 10-2. Cornerstone swept the doubles play before taking five of the six singles matches to down Ave Maria 8-1 on Thursday afternoon.
 
 
Doubles Highlights: Doubles play for the Golden Eagles has been solid the entire spring break trip and Thursday was no different as they posted identical 8-4 wins on the top two courts while the duo of Grant Morton and Dan Ribbink won 8-0 on court three.
 
 
Singles Highlights: CU then posted five straight-set wins in singles as Marc Lerch, Francisco Fernandez, Austin Hendrick and Sam Ottosen all won while dropping only three games in the pair of sets. Grant Morton had the most lop-sided win as he won at No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-0.
 
 
Next Up? Cornerstone conclude their spring break trip with a match against No. 3 ranked Keiser University (Fla.).
