CLERMONT, Fla. – The Golden Eagles continued their season on Thursday after having a day off Wednesday and their offense struggled as they fell to Bellevue 7-0 and No. 2 Saint Xavier 6-0. The pair of losses drop CU to 3-7 as they will look to re-group on Friday when they play Maran and Trinity Christian.

Cornerstone 0 – Bellevue 7 – The Bruins scored three runs in the third and fourth innings and added one more in the seventh. Caitlyn Hartline and Moriah Wilke had the only two hits for the Golden Eagles. Rachel Younts pitched  the first four innings and Chelsea Harrison pitched the final three.
 
Cornerstone 0 – Saint Xavier 6 – Alicia Ontiveros doubled down the right field line for the only Cornerstone hit of the day. Brooke Leonard pitched the first 4.1 innings before Whitney Heasley came in for the last 2.1. The Golden Eagles loaded the bases in the second inning but could not score.
