GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – With only a few matches remaining in the regular season, the women's tennis team fell on the road to No. 17 Davenport on Wednesday night. The loss drops the Golden Eagles to 2-10 overall and 1-4 in league action. CU will play its final regular season contest on Friday at Lawrence Tech.
Doubles Highlights – Cornerstone was unable to score a point in doubles as they fell 8-0 in all three matches.
Singles Highlights – The lone player to record a game win was
Lauren Brendel who lost 6-1, 6-0 on the #1 court. The other match to go final was a 6-0, 6-0 triumph over
Sierra Griffith at No. 4.
CU will close out the regular season on Friday at Lawrence tech.
