GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone cruised to a pair of wins in the opening two sets only to see the visiting Racers of UNOH force a fourth set but the No. 10 ranked Golden Eagles prevailed 3-1 on Friday evening. The victory is the second straight for CU as they improve to 10-5 on the year and 3-0 in league action. Cornerstone will remain at home this weekend when they host Indiana Tech at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Cornerstone's offense dominated the opening two sets as they hit .375 in the opener and .265 in the second set while posting 25 kills. CU closed out the first set winning 25-12 and followed it with a 25-22 victory in the second.
UNOH's defense and serve game then turned the story in the third set as they would not go away quietly and they won 25-21 to force a fourth set. CU took a 4-4 tie in the fourth set and used a 4-0 run to open a gap and they would not let up, eventually winning 25-19.
