GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The first 2017 meeting of the last year's WHAC regular season co-champions comes to Mol Arena on Wednesday night when the No. 10 ranked Golden Eagles play host to Lourdes University. First serve is set for 7 p.m. and Aaron Sagraves and Nate Wangler will have the call live on the CSPN.

SCOUTING LOURDES
Head coach Greg Reitz is in his eighth year at the helm of the Lourdes program and his 2017 version boasts an overall record of 9-4 while they are 2-1 in the WHAC. LU has won its last three matches overall and has been led by a balanced offense that features three different players - Kristin Murrell, Chelsea Lawrence, and Genessee Tate that average 2.64, 2.62, and 2.62 kills per set. Sophomore libero Stephanie Dippold has been a rock on defense as she is currently sixth on the all-time digs list at the school.
 
 
Attacker and Setter of the Week
Cornerstone's Hope Leppink and Kendra Zwart earned their second weekly honors from the conference as Leppink was named the WHAC Setter of the Week while Zwart was named the WHAC Attacker of the Week. The duo led Cornerstone to a perfect 3-0 mark and Leppink dished out over 11 assists per set while Zwart hit an astouding .461 on the week.
 
Home Sweet Home
Cornerstone has won their last 19 matches inside Mol Arena dating back to the end of the 2015 season. CU completed a perfect 15-0 mark last year, including a 3-1 upset of then No. 9 Lourdes and has already won three matches so far in 2017 on their home court.
