Hannah Sell gave Cornerstone their fourth consecutive victory. The Golden Eagles improve to 6-2-1 overall, 2-0 in the WHAC. They'll look to continue their winning streak on Saturday afternoon at Madonna.
Game Flow…
Rochester capitalized on their only shot of the first half to take 1-0 advantage just ten minutes into the game. Cornerstone piled on 12 shots in the half to go along with seven corner kicks, but could not find the back of the net. With 15 minutes left on the clock,
Hannah Sell took the team's 24th shot of the competition and found the back of the net to tie it at 1-1. Sell later broke the tie with another goal with five minutes remaining in the match to give Cornerstone a 2-1 victory.
