GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – No. 1 Cornerstone will head on the road to take on No. 5 Indiana Tech Saturday in the top game in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) on Saturday afternoon. Scouting Indiana Tech – Head coach Ted Albert
The Warriors, under first year head coach Ted Albert, come into Saturday's Top-5 showdown after suffering an upset loss to No. RV Madonna on Wednesday night. Indiana Tech is 18-4 overall and 10-2 in WHAC play and has been led by reigning WHAC Player of the Week Darren Groves. The junior is averaging 14.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while the team ranks No. 4 in Total Rebounds (885) and No. 12 in 3-pt FG% Defense (.318). Indiana Tech is ranked No. 5 in the latest NAIA DII Top-25 Poll and is currently second in the league standings behind Cornerstone.

Since 2000-01, Cornerstone is 22-13 against teams ranked inside the Top-5 in the national poll including a 3-0 mark this season with wins over No. 2 Union, No. 3 Saint Francis and No. 5 Indiana Tech.
WHAC Standings
Cornerstone (11-0) leads the conference standings by two full games over Indiana Tech (10-2) while the rest of the conference is jumbled between third and seventh place. Madonna and Aquinas are tied for third with 8-4 records while UM-Dearborn (8-5) is the only other team with a league-mark above .500.
Home-Stand Nearing
Cornerstone will hit the road Saturday before coming back to Mol Arena where they will play three consecutive games in front of their home crowd. CU will host Lourdes on Wednesday of next week followed by Madonna on Saturday and Siena Heights the next Wednesday to close out January.
