Scouting Spring Arbor – Head coach Ryan Cottingham
The Cougars, under the veteran leadership of Ryan Cottingham, have already played one game this season as they defeated East-West University, 94-57 back on October 23. Spring Arbor is led by preseason All-Crossroads League selection Paul Marandet who put up 16 points and eight assists in the season opener. SAU was led in scoring that night by Tom Hamilton who scored 17 points on 7-12 shooting, including 3-4 from behind the arc. SAU will face Aquinas College on Saturday afternoon to finish the weekend.

The Wildcats, fresh off their third NAIA DII National Championship in the last five seasons, opened the 2018-19 campaign with an 86-48 win over Governor State (Ill.) last Saturday. 14
th year head coach Greg Tonagel has a veteran bunch back for this year led by 1
st Team All-American and last year's national tournament MVP, Kyle Mangas. He was joined on the preseason All-Crossroads League team by senior Evan Maxwell and together they combined for 19 points and 11 rebounds in the opener.
