GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The annual 80's night celebration kicks off a 5-match week for the Cornerstone Volleyball team as the Golden Eagles will play them all inside Mol Arena. CU will host Aquinas on Wednesday at 7 p.m. before welcoming in seven other teams for the annual Aquinas-Cornerstone Classic this weekend.

Scouting the Opponents
- Aquinas
- The Saints are 19-5 overall and 10-2 in league action which keeps them in second place behind WHAC-leading Lourdes
- Head coach Rick Schroeder, in his third season, has led Aquinas to three straight wins after falling to Lourdes on the road two weeks ago
- Kristin Danielson leads the offense for AQ with 253 kills while Karly Morris anchors the defense posting 5.8 digs per set
- Huntington (Ind.)
- The Foresters play in the Crossroads League and are led by fourth year head coach Kyle Shondell
- Huntington, who beat CU back in mid-August, is 9-16 overall and 5-8 in conference play
- HU has a balanced offense with four players posting at least 170 kills, led by 208 from Brandy Michie
- Grace (Ind)
- The Lancers are led by first-year head coach Katie Van Hofwegen
- Grace is 17-8 overall and 9-4 in the Crossroads League
- Caylie Teel (322 kills) and Kelsee Zuidema (301 kills) lead a dynamic Grace offense that is led by setter Alexa Hill
- IU-South Bend
- Eighth year head coach Jamie Ashmore has the Titans at 6-12 overall and 4-4 in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC)
- The Titans play Olivet Nazarene and St. Francis (Ill.) this week before heading to Grand Rapids
- IU-South Bend is led on offense by Sarah Allison who is averaging 3.1 kills per set
- Carroll (Mont.)
- Veteran head coach Maureen Boyle, in her 14th season, has led the Saints to an overall record of 16-9 while they are 4-3 in the Frontier Conference
- Carroll has played matches in Washington, Nebraska and Montana as well as now Michigan
- The Saints are led by Brielle Bumgarner who averages 3.17 kills per set and Rayna Pilgeram (7.3 assist per set)
