ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Golden Eagles began conference play on Wednesday evening at Rochester college. After being outscored by ten in the first quarter, Cornerstone cut the deficit to just five at halftime. After surrendering 20 points in the third quarter, the Golden Eagles chiseled the deficit to seven late in the game but came up short, falling 52-41 to bring their overall record to 1-7. The team will be back in action on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Mol Arena against Siena Heights.
