Senior Day closes out regular season for Volleyball on Saturday

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Head coach Ryan Campbell and the Golden Eagle Volleyball team will celebrate the final regular season home match for seniors Mackenzie Vallad, Marcella Compeau and Kendra Zwart when CU hosts Concordia on Saturday at 1 p.m.

• Cornerstone will host one of four WHAC Quarterfinal matches on Wednesday, November 7 at 7 p.m. inside Mol Arena

• The Golden Eagles rank No. 1 in the NAIA in Total Blocks and Blocks/Set

• Kendra Zwart was named last week's WHAC and NAIA Attacker and Defender of the Week and is only player this year to earn multiple weekly awards at NAIA level

• Saturday is senior day, celebrating the last regular season home match for #5 Mackenzie Vallad, #7 Marcella Compeau and #9 Kendra Zwart

• Vallad and Zwart are moving up the career ranks for Kills and Digs - Zwart is #4 in kills (20 behind Alicia TerHaar). Vallad is #4 in Digs (8 behind Sarah Haney)

- The Cardinals are just 3-21 overall and 2-17 in WHAC play
- First year head coach Daniella Cook served as an Associate HC for two seasons at CUAA
- Gabriella den Boer leads the team in kills with 169 and she is followed by Delaney Bennett (168)
