GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Lawrence Tech would outscore Cornerstone 30-7 in the second quarter on their way to a huge 95-43 win over the Golden Eagles. With the loss, CU has now dropped seven straight and is 1-11, 0-4 WHAC overall.
Brooke Modderman recorded her first double digit scoring performance and a career high with 10 points in the loss as Cornerstone gets set to host Lourdes on Saturday at 1 p.m.

- After Shelby Nyboer and Mya Udell scored the first two buckets of the game, LTU would go on a 14-0 run to take a 16-4 lead.
- A Brooke Modderman three at the end of the first quarter would help CU cut the deficit to just seven at the end of the period.
- Lawrence Tech would get hot offensively in the second quarter, outscoring CU 30-7 in the period to lead 48-18 at the half.
- The Blue Devils would increase their lead to as many as 42 in the third quarter, but another three by Brooke Modderman would help cut it to 37 at the end of the period.
- Lexi Boven got her first action of the game late in the fourth quarter and scored two jumpers in a 95-43 loss vs. the Blue Devils.
