GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles got off to a fast start and were able to take a one-point lead into the half, but it wasn't enough as the Gray Wolves shot 41.9% in the second half to defeat Cornerstone 68-53. With the loss, CU moves to 1-12, 0-5 WHAC and has now lost eight straight games. The Golden Eagles will get another shot for their first home and conference victory vs. Madonna on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

- CU started the game on a 7-0 run highlighted by a three pointer from Mya Udell.
- The Golden Eagle defense was strong in the first quarter holding Lourdes to just nine points and 25.0% from the field to take a 15-9 lead at the end of the period.
- Lourdes would go on a 5-0 run to tie the game for the first time 19-19.
- Rebekah Crosby scored six points in the second quarter to help Cornerstone hold a 27-26 lead at halftime.
- A 9-2 run to start the third quarter would help Lourdes take a 47-40 lead at the end of the third.
- Lourdes would continue to increase their lead in the fourth getting it up to as many as 17 to earn a 68-53 win.
