SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Turnovers would doom Cornerstone against another tough NAIA DI top 25 opponent, falling 78-33 against The Master's College to conclude the Westmont Holiday Classic. CU returns to Michigan for Christmas break with a 2-16 record after dropping both games in California. WHAC action will pick back up for the Golden Eagles after New Year's with a home game vs. Concordia on Wednesday, January 2.

- Cornerstone got off to another slow start offensively being outscored 16-4 on just 2-8 from the field in the first eight minutes of the game.
- A Brooke Modderman layup and a free throw by Rebekah Crosby and Taylor Richards helped CU cut the deficit to eight at the end of the first quarter.
- Cornerstone would turn the ball over 10 consecutive times that spurred a 10-0 run by the Mustangs and give them a 32-14 lead.
- CU was held to just 16 first half points on 5-16 shooting to trail 37-16 at the break.
- The Golden Eagles would play much better offensively in the third, scoring 11 points that included a three from Sterling DeGayner, but the deficit would increase to 28.
- The Mustangs would go on an 21-4 run in the fourth quarter to earn a 78-33 win against the Golden Eagles.
