Big week on tap for No. 9 Men’s Hoops

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Two of the biggest games of the WHAC regular season schedule await the No. 9 ranked men's basketball team as head coach Kim Elders will lead the Golden Eagles into a home Wednesday contest against #RV Madonna and a Saturday road game at No. 16 Indiana Tech. CU is 10-3 overall and 5-0 in the WHAC while MU and IT are a combined 16-6 overall and 8-1 in conference action.

Scouting Madonna – Head coach Noel Emenhiser
The Crusaders and head coach Noel Ememhiser come into the week at 8-2 overall and 3-1 in WHAC play. Madonna has been one of the most explosive offensive teams in the country this season with two games over 100 and three more over 80. MU surprised people early with an upset of then No. 2 ranked IU-East and picked up a nice road win in their last outing at #RV Rochester. The Crusaders are led on offense by Dwight Burton who is averaging 22.4 points per game. Joining him in double-figures is  Jonathon Swift, Noah Campbell and Josh Reynolds.

Scouting Indiana Tech – Head coach Ted Albert
Former CU athlete and assistant coach Ted Albert has the No. 16 ranked Indiana Tech Warriors on a roll as of late as they have won seven straight games and also had a forfeit win to make it eight total victories without a loss. Two-time reigning WHAC Player of the Week Darren Groves is putting up 13.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game while Logan Primerano is leading the team at 16.2 points per game. Just behind him is Joel Wincowski who is averaging 15.2 points per night.
