Box Score GRANDVILLE, Mich. - The men's tennis team opened their 2018 season with a daunting task in front of them as they took on NCAA D2 Grand Valley State University. The Lakers won in convincing fashion on their home court by a final of 9-0. The Golden Eagles will look to respond on Saturday when they face Calvin College at 6:15 p.m.
Doubles Highlights - The Golden Eagles have many new players and new pairings for doubles other than Court No. 1 as seniors

Austin Hendrick fell 8-1. CU also dropped an 8-1 decision on court 2 and 8-0 decision on court 3.
Singles Highlights - The Lakers carried their momentum into the singles portion as brand new CU players Aliakse Kanstantsinaui,
John Cocoma and
Nick Kleitch dropped straight set matches at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 6.
