GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The women's tennis team faced a tough task on Saturday as the No. 8 ranked Northwestern Ohio Racers came to Grand Rapids and posted a 9-0 win over the Golden Eagles. The loss drops CU to 5-4 overall and 1-2 in the WHAC. CU will face Concordia and Lawrence Tech next week in conference action.
Doubles Highlights: Cornerstone won just one game in the three matches as UNOH won 8-0 and courts one and three while they won 8-1 on court two.
Singles Highlights:Â The Racers were dominant on the singles side as they won all six matches in straight sets while dropping only six games.Â
What's Next? Cornerstone will head to Ann Arbor to face Concordia before hosting Lawrence Tech next Saturday.
