GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The conference race is starting to heat up in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference for Volleyball and Cornerstone will find out a lot about itself with matches against three of the premier teams. CU travels to Lourdes and Siena Heights on Friday and Saturday before coming back home to host Madonna on Monday.

Scouting the Opponents
- Lourdes
- The Gray Wolves have a much different looking roster from last year as they are paced by a slew of transfers and leading the way are setter Carol Goncalves and outside hitter Monique Oliveira
- Lourdes is one of two teams entering the weekend with just one league loss as they are tied atop the standings with Aquinas
- Siena Heights
- The Saints have been one of the hottest teams in the league as they have won six of their last seven matches with their only setback at Lourdes
- Head coach Kim Barrington is in her third season at the helm of the program
- Madonna
- The Crusaders suffered a 3-match losing skid before ending it on Wednesday with a thrilling 5-set win over Lawrence Tech
- Head coach Jerry Abraham is the NAIA's all-time wins leader in volleyball
