SYLVANIA, Ohio - Cornerstone trailed 2-0 in the road contest at Lourdes but fought back to force a fifth set before eventually falling to the host Gray Wolves. The loss is the second of the year in five sets, both coming in WHAC play, as CU (12-7, 4-3 WHAC) will look to rebound on Saturday in another road contest at Siena Heights.

- Cornerstone struggled in the opening two sets, as they fell 25-17, 25-23 while hitting just .070 in the opener and .200 in the second
- In comparison, the Golden Eagles had 34 kills in the next two in which they won 25-22 and 25-18 while hitting .226 and .292
- Kayla Clark had a well-rounded night with 44 assists, seven kills and 11 digs
- Kendra Zwart continued her solid play with 20 kills and seven blocks
