GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After leading by nine at the half, the Golden Eagles were unable to hold on to the lead getting outscored 48-19 in the second half to fall at home to Northwestern Ohio 69-49. CU would play all 16 varsity players in the game, and 13 of them would find the net. With the loss, Cornerstone moves to 2-23, 1-14 WHAC on the year as they will hit the road to play winless Madonna on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

Racers got off to a fast start taking a 6-2 lead and forcing CU into an early timeout.

CU would go on a 5-0 run to end the half to take a lead of nine at the break, 30-21.

10 CU players scored in the first half and 12 would see game action.

Sterling DeGayner would hit a three early in the third to give Cornerstone their largest lead of 10, but UNOH would outscore the Golden Eagles 32-13 in the quarter to take a 10 point lead.

The Racers would continue to build upon their lead in the fourth quarter getting up by as many as 21 to win 69-49.
