Alexys Riksen powered Cornerstone to a massive 3-1 victory over Lawrence Tech on a cold, rainy night. The Golden Eagles are now 13-4-0 on the season, with a 7-3-0 record in the WHAC. The battle for WHAC tournament seeding will wrap up this Saturday as CU will face Madonna at home. Kickoff is set for 1 pm, with the men's final game to follow at 3:30. The Highlights
- Riksen's first of the night came 15 minutes in, when she headed home a ball from Madison Radcliffe.
- Phoebe LaCroix and Jozlyn VanTol set the table for Riksen's second and third goals respectively. The senior scored all three of her goals within 16 minutes.
- Lawrence Tech grabbed a goal back in the 43rd minute when Katelyn Mather scored unassisted to make it 3-1.
- Both sides created chances in the second half, but there was no change to the score when the final whistle blew.
