GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone hosted Michigan-Dearborn in the annual Christmas game on Saturday. The Golden Eagles jumped out to a hot start, leading by 15 after the first quarter and 11 at halftime. The Wolverines used a 19-0 run in the second half to claw their way back into the game before ultimately prevailing by a score of 75-67. Cornerstone will be back in action next week Saturday at Madonna.

- The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 10-4 lead in the first five minutes of action.
- Broghan Gamble put the star on top of the Christmas tree for CU at the end of the first quarter with a buzzer-beating layup to put the Golden Eagles up 23-8.
- Cornerstone's lead grew to as many as 18 in the second quarter thanks in part to six points from Rebekah Crosby.
- A 9-3 run by the Wolverines trimmed CU's lead to 39-28 at halftime.
- Michigan-Dearborn ended the third quarter on a 15-0 run to take a 48-47 lead, capped off with the go-ahead bucket with five seconds to go.
- Rebekah Crosby broke a 58-58 tie with a layup to put the Golden Eagles up by two points with five minutes to play.
- Sterling DeGayner hit a pair of big three-pointers in the waning minutes of the contest, but the Wolverines prevailed by a score of 75-67.
