Career Highs
A pair of CU players hit new career high scoring marks in a dominating win over UNOH on Saturday. Sophomore
Gabe Meriwether got the first start of his career and did not disappoint with career high 15 points and four assists. Meriwether's 15 points led all scorers as he was one of five players to score 10+ in the win. Sophomore
Jonny Strube also saw significant time in the win vs. UNOH recording a career high 13 points and four rebounds in the game. 13 points marks the first time Strube has recorded double-digits in his short Cornerstone career.
Sluis Nears Another Record
Senior
Sam Vander Sluis has already broken multiple records this season, but the senior is now nearing the program record for the most rebounds in a single season. Vander Sluis needs just 52 more rebounds to pass Jim Eppink's (1986-87) mark of 452 rebounds and become the new single season program leader. Vander Sluis recorded 442 rebounds in 2016-17 and 385 in 2016-17 to rank second and third respectively in program history.
