OLIVET, Mich. – The Golden Eagles took control of the match quickly by winning all 3 of the doubles matches. They continued their dominance in the singles matches, winning all six without even dropping a set. The great play lead by

Olivia Kelley gave Cornerstone the 9-0 win on the road. CU will have this week off before they return to action against Alma College on the road.
Doubles Highlights– Cornerstone started the day off strong, despite being on the road. The Golden Eagles went 3-0 in doubles. All three doubles teams took control early in their matches. All of the doubles scored proved that by winning 8-2, 8-3, and 8-3.
Singles Highlights– Singles play was highlighted with two huge wins from No. 2 and No. 4 singles.
Olivia Kelley and
Nicole VerHulst each held their opponent to two game wins. Olivia won 6-2, 6-0 and Nicole took her opponent down 6-1, 6-1. The match win was clinched by
Olivia Kelley's dominant win. However, CU didn't slow down, winning all the rest of the matches in straight sets.
Cornerstone will take this week off and return to action on Saturday, February 16
