KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Cornerstone held leads early in both games, but ended up falling to receiving votes Judson 14-5 in game one and 7-4 in game two. The pair of losses are the first for the Golden Eagles on the trip as they fall to 3-6 on the year and 3-2 in Florida. Action will pick back up quickly for the Golden Eagles as they will play another CCAC school in Saint Xavier tomorrow for a double-header starting at 11:30 a.m.
Game One
- Judson got on the board first, scoring in the bottom of the first on an RBI double to take a 1-0 lead.
- Cornerstone quickly responded to take the lead after Dustin DeBeau hit a double that scored Jan Elias and Austin Hurt.
- CU added two more runs in the second for a total of four after Aaron Krupansky and Jarod Burton each recorded RBI's.
- Brett Shure struggled with command leading to an exit after 2.0 innings of work.
- Judson scored three of the relief pitcher Jared Riley in the third inning to tie the game back up at four.
- JU regained the lead in the fifth after a bases loaded hit by pitch scored a run to give them the 5-4 lead.
- Relief pitching continued to be an issue for CU as both Alan LaBov and Brandon Bush came in and gave up a combined seven more runs to allow Judson to hit 14 on the game.
- Cornerstone's only other run in the game came on an Aaron Krupansky sacrifice fly that scored Jan Elias, resulting in a 14-5 loss.
Game Two
- Once again, CU held an early lead as Aaron Krupansky scored on a wild pitch to give Cornerstone the 1-0 lead.
- Krupansky added to the lead in the fourth with an RBI single that scored Kyle DeSchryver after he had tripled earlier in the inning.
- Jarod Burton and Joe Corsten each recorded RBI's in the fourth as well to give CU the 4-0 lead.
- Judson then came roaring back, scoring four runs in the fifth resulting in an early exit for starter Daniel Abbgy who had a no-hitter in tact after four innings of play.
- The game remained tied leading into the seventh as Aaron Krupansky came in and pitched shutting down the Judson comeback.
- After an intentional walk in the seventh inning, Judson power hitter Jared Ludwig would hit his second homerun of the day with a three-run bomb to center field to give the Eagles a 7-4 lead.
- Cornerstone threatened in the bottom of the seventh getting two runners on, but were unable to score falling 7-4 in game two.

10/3 – Judson recorded less hits than runs in both games, with 10 hits on 14 runs in game one and seven runs on three hits in game two.
