Doubles Highlights– Cornerstone had some tough competition in No. 1 and No. 2 doubles flights. The first doubles flight was taken down 6-8 in the first match of the day. The next match was played by
Nicole VerHulst and
Olivia Kelley at No. 2 doubles. This dynamic duo was able to get the dominant 8-2 win, their seventh win of the season. The third doubles match went to CU but was not played due to St. Francis not having a No. 3 doubles team for Cornerstone to play against.
Singles Highlights– The Golden Eagles faced stiff competition when their singles flights took the courts.
Nicole VerHulst was able to win her career best seventh singles win of the season 6-0, 6-2. There was an intense three set match at No. 2 singles that unfortunately didn't go Cornerstone's way.
