GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A tightly contested WHAC match ultimately saw Lourdes prevail over Cornerstone 68-59 on Wednesday night. After trading buckets early, the Golden Eagles were chasing the Gray Wolves all night, albeit by single digits for all but a few seconds of the game. Cornerstone will conclude their season with back-to-back Saturday afternoon contests with a road test at Aquinas on February 15 before the season finale inside Mol Arena against Concordia on February 22.

- Allyson Richards, who scored a career high 12 points against Rochester on Saturday, stayed hot with two early buckets to give CU a 6-3 lead just two minutes into the game.
- Lourdes used a pair of three-pointers and a 9-4 run to end the first quarter ahead 23-19.
- After the Gray Wolves scored six consecutive points at the free throw line to take a seven-point lead, Broghan Gamble cut the deficit back to four with her second three-pointer of the contest with 2:41 to play in the first half.
- After shooting an impressive 8-for-12 in the first quarter, the Golden Eagles cooled off by going 4-for-15 from the floor in the second quarter, but only trailed 38-30 at the break.
- Richards and Shelby Nyboer both scored ten points in the first half.
- With 3:11 remaining in the third quarter, Richards pulled up from beyond the arc and made her first career three-pointer to cut the deficit to just two points, 44-42.
- The Gray Wolves ended the third quarter on a 7-1 run to reestablish their eight-point lead after three quarters, 51-43.
- A layup by Sterling DeGayner with seven minutes to play cut the deficit back to just three points, 53-50.
- Lourdes went 13-for-16 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter to seal a 68-59 victory.
