LIMA, Ohio – A tough night for the Cornerstone offense proved to be too tall a mountain to climb, as they fell to UNOH 77-53. The Racers were able to capitalize on 16 Golden Eagle turnovers, turning them into 24 points.
Rebekah Crosby led CU with 13 points and grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds. Unfortunately for Cornerstone, five players for UNOH reached double figures. Jada Haines led the Racers with 21. Game Flow
- Cornerstone's only lead came on the first basket of the game from Shelby Nyboer. From there UNOH took control, stretching their lead to as many as 15. CU was able to claw back slightly, drawing within 10 as the quarter came to a close.
- The Racers and Golden Eagles traded baskets throughout the second, but UNOH slowly pulled away. A three-pointer by Jada Haines with ten seconds left in the quarter made it 39-24 UNOH, going into the half.
- The third quarter was all UNOH, as the Racers jumped all over Cornerstone. 26 third quarter points widened the lead for UNOH, as CU's offense failed to keep pace. The Golden Eagles were only able to muster 12 points in the quarter, putting them in a tough hole heading into the fourth.
- Cornerstone opened the final quarter on a 12-2 run, but it ended up being too little too late. UNOH was able to simply bleed out the clock thanks to their large lead. Sterling DeGayner connected on a late three for the final score of the game but it was the Racers defending home court with a 77-53 victory.

- The turnover battle was won by UNOH, who only coughed up the ball six times in comparison to Cornerstone's 16.
- The Golden Eagles outrebounded the Racers 39-37 on the night, thanks in part to Rebekah Crosby pulling down 17 boards.
- UNOH shot 15-36 from deep, at a solid 41.7% clip. The Golden Eagles were not as successful from deep, going 7-21.
- Neither team got to the free throw line at a high rate, with CU shooting 4-6 from the line and UNOH, 6-8.

Cornerstone will return to Mol Arena for a rematch with Rochester this Saturday, tip-off is set for 1 pm.
