Cornerstone Athletics Return to Play Update; Fan Policy Guidelines

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone athletics is excited to return to on-campus athletic competition with events returning to Mol Arena on Thursday, January 21. As events return to campus, Cornerstone has announced updated fan policy guidelines to fit within the MDHHS orders as we continue to strive to keep the CU campus safe during the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic. 
 
Below is a list of important notes regarding fan attendance for upcoming home games: 
  • No visiting team fans allowed in at this time. 
  • Limited guest list per each home participant. Athletes are to work with coaches on who will be on their guest list prior to each game and that will be sent to the athletic office one day prior to the event. 
  • All paid Golden Eagle Club Members may be in attendance for any home contest.
  • All guest-listed recruits and immediate family may be in attendance. 
  • All guests will continue to be asked to fill out a guest screening survey upon arrival.

During double-header events, Cornerstone will clear the facility of guests between each game before allowing the new group of fans into the facility. During the transition, CU staff will work to disinfect and clean all areas of the facility including stands, benches, scores table, and all common touch points. 
 
Due to limited attendance at all home events, Cornerstone will continue to prioritize the streaming of all home on-campus events at cugoldeneagles.com/watch.
