GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Nearly four months after concluding the fall portion of their season, the Cornerstone Men's Soccer team is ready to get back into action for the spring slate, which begins Saturday afternoon against Cleary. The spring opener will be played at Midwest United Fieldhouse in Kentwood at 3 p.m. Fans are permitted, but must be screened and masked prior to entry. Fall Recap
Cornerstone went a respectable 3-2 over the five game fall schedule. One of those losses was in non-conference form against Olivet Nazarene. After a 3-0 setback to Lourdes in the season opener, the team exploded for a 5-0 victory against Concordia. The fall slate concluded with back-to-back 1-0 victories against Siena Heights and Lawrence Tech, with the victory over LTU coming in overtime.
Spring Outlook
After playing five games in the fall, the spring schedule features six games, all against WHAC opponents: Cleary, Madonna, Rochester, Aquinas, UNOH, and Indiana Tech. Four of the games will be at home, while two will be on the road.

The Golden Eagles scored seven goals over five fall games, all of which from different players:

Home Sweet Home
After a 1-6-1 showing in home games in the 2019 season, the Golden Eagles have started the 2020 season with a 2-0 record at home. The team will host Cleary, Rochester, Aquinas, and UNOH this spring.
Scouting Cleary
After being one of the few schools to opt out of the fall portion of the season, the Cougars began their season last week Friday with a 6-0 setback to Aquinas. In the preseason poll released last fall, Cleary finished 6th out of 12 teams.
