NN ARBOR, Mich. – In a game where Cornerstone was able to play on the campus of the University of Michigan, the Golden Eagles took care of business and swept the Wolverines in three sets 25-21, 25-13, 25-12. It was all cornerstone in this one as they wasted no time getting out to big leads. Cornerstone is now just three games away from tying the longest win streak in program history, which is 22. The Golden Eagles have a much-needed rest as they don't play another game until October 12 when they host Lawrence Tech at 7 p.m.

• Cornerstone came out strong starting off the game with a 5-3 lead with kills by
Aubrey Lenz and
Olivia Keelean.

Kaylee Dykema started a four-run rally with back-to-back blocks with
Aubrey Lenz and
Rylie Walters to extend the Cornerstone lead 10-8 in set one.
• UM-Dearborn forced Cornerstone to use their first timeout after a 3-run rally extended their lead 17-14. Sydney Eggleton had a service ace for the Wolverines.
• Cornerstone went on a 3-point run to take the lead 20-19 to force the UM-Dearborn timeout.
Rylie Walters had a kill and
Regan Vaughn added a service ace.
• Cornerstone finished set one strong with kills by
Kaylee Dykema and UM-Dearborn attacking errors, winning set one 25-21.
• It has been a back-and-forth battle to start set 2 as they are up 13-9 with kills by
Kylie Barron,
Kathryn Detweiler, and
Patsy Morris added three service aces to extend the lead and force the UM-Dearborn timeout.
• The Golden Eagles have dominated the second set going on 5-0 run to force UM-Dearborn to use their final timeout, up 18-9.

• Cornerstone finished set two strong with a service ace again by
Patsy Morris,
Regan Vaughn added a service ace of her own and kills by
Rylie Walters to win 25-13.
• UM-Dearborn came out strong in set 3 getting the early lead 4-2 with a kill by Sydney Eggleton and Regan Sliwinski.
• Cornerstone went on a 5-0 run to force the UM-Dearborn timeout after kills by
Kathryn Detweiler and
Rylie Walters extend the Golden Eagle lead 8-5.
• After another 5-0 run by Corerstone, UM-Dearborn was forced to use their last timeout after kills
Kaylee Dykema and
Aubrey Lenz, leading 17-8 in set three.
• It was all Cornerstone in set three as kills by
Olivia Keelean,
Kathryn Detweiler, and
Carly Bolser finished it for Cornerstone winning 25-12.

The Golden Eagles have the rest of the week off and return home to host Lawrence Tech on Wednesday, October 12 at 7 p.m.
