GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – It was a tale of two halves for the women's basketball team that saw them leading by six at halftime to eventually falling and losing 82-64 to Taylor. Taylor went 6-9 from the three-point line in the second half that also saw them shoot 69% from the field as well. Cornerstone now looks to regroup before they head to Chicago on Saturday, November 5 as they face off against Governors State.
Game Highlights:
• It didn't take long for Cornerstone to score as
Maddison Fulks drains a three, five seconds into the game.
• It took until 5:37 in the first quarter for Taylor to score as Cornerstone has the lead 11-2 after back-to-back layups by
Olivia Kubik.
• Cornerstone and Taylor traded threes as
Maddison Fulks drained her second three of the quarter to give Cornerstone the 16-10 lead with :43 seconds left in the first quarter.
• Cornerstone leads 19-10 after the first quarter.
• It took two minutes in the second quarter before Taylor was able to hit a three to make it a 22-13 game.
• Taylor has gone on a 6-0 run to cut the deficit 26-21 with five minutes remaining in the second quarter.

Jaxi Long ended the Cornerstone scoring drought with a corner three to extend the lead 31-23 with three minutes remaining
• Taylor finished the half going on a 6-1 run lead the final two minutes as Cornerstone leads 35-29 after two.
• Taylor started the third going on a 7-0 in the first minute to take the 36-35 lead.

Maddison Fulks got the scoring started for the Golden Eagles hitting her third three of the game tying the game 40-40 with seven minutes left in the third.
• Taylor would go on another 5-0 run within a two-minute span that would force Cornerstone to take a timeout as Taylor saw their lead extend to 45-40.

Maddison Fulks capped off a three-minute 7-0 run, draining her fourth three of the game making it a 51-49 Taylor lead with just under two minutes remaining in the third quarter.
• Mackenzie Stein hit a midrange jumper to tie the game at 51 as the third quarter would come to a close.
• Taylor started the fourth quarter going on a 12-0 run that spanned over four minutes that saw their lead grow to 63-51 as the Trojans have only missed one three point shot in the second half.
• The Trojans have gone on another 8-3 run as Taylors lead is now 71-54 with three-minute remaining in the fourth quarter.

Olivia Kubik scored five straight points for the Golden Eagles making it a 77-61 game.
